Nylon Washers
All our washers are made in our factory in the USA using premium nylon 6/6

Factory Weedhoppers were supplied with 1/8" flat washers to be used between tube intersections. Over time these washers squish, crack, and fall out. The bolt can't be tightened enough to take up the slack, so your Weedhopper rattles and clanks, wallowing out the tube holes.

At ULAV8R we decided to fix this problem with a completely new product.

The "Double Saddle Washer"

The Double Saddle Washer is a single injection molded part with saddles on both sides. The saddles are molded at the correct intersecting angles for each different connection.

The net thickness is 1/8" so the tubes are 1/8" apart when assembled, just as in the original design with 1/8" flat washers. Your original bolts work with our washers.

The Upgrade Kit includes double saddle washers for all brace to boom tube mounts, as well as  double saddle washers for the nose wheel strut / seat tube connection. On the model 40, the front braces use a single sided saddle washer.
